Rispondere a questi problemi potrebbe anche aiutare nel prossimo futuro a selezionare il paziente giusto per i farmaci giusti, limitando la somministrazione di farmaci anti-amiloide solo a quei soggetti che sono effettivamente affetti da amiloidosi cerebrale.
