The Secretariat of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is pleased to inform the non-governmental organizations receiving the present communication that the IAEA will hold the International Conference on Advances in Radiation Oncology (ICARO-3) (hereinafter referred to as “event”) at the IAEA’s Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, from 23 to 26 February 2021.
This winterschool targets medical physicists, physicians, technologists and researchers involved and interested in the workflow of clinical dosimetry in support to precision radionuclide therapy. The aim of this winter school is to present bases of quantitative imaging and dosimetry methodologies to support patient-based treatment planning and verification in clinic. The school also aims to promote a common/shared knowledge and cooperation of different partners involved (physicians, physicists, technologists and researchers).
For nearly twenty years, the EURADOS Annual Meetings have been a key event on the agenda of the communi- ty working in the field of ionizing radiation dosimetry. It has become a tradition to combine the statutory actions of EURADOS with the meetings of EURADOS working groups as well as with events of general interest such as the EURADOS Winter School or workshops on particularly important topics in dosimetry.
Five days hands-on Geant4 course organized by Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare and Vinća Institute of Nuclear Sciences will be held in Belgrade (Serbia) from November 17th to 22nd, 2019.
Geant4 is a software toolkit, written in C ++, for simulating tracking of particles in the matter with the Monte Carlo approach.
Discussions on research projects submitted by participants, aiming at improving the projects, and to learn, by example from peers and the expert faculty, how to turn research ideas into a successful project.
Lectures
Trends, unresolved issues and research opportunities in:
MR imaging in radiotherapy (including dose painting)
PET imaging in radiotherapy (including dose painting)
IGRT and adaptive therapy to compensate for anatomical variations
The 5th EURADOS Training Course on Radiation Protec- tion Dosimetry is an initiative of the EURADOS working group on Harmonization of Individual Monitoring (WG02). The authors of the Technical Recommendation RP160 were all members of the WG02 and in 2012 initiated this series of training courses. During the years, the scope of the Training Course was broadened, but still follows in its basic ideas the RP160 document.

It is our privilege and our pleasure to invite you to Graz for the 9th Alpe-Adria Medical Physics Meeting (AAMPM) and the Annual Meeting of the Austrian Society for Medical Physics (ÖGMP), which takes place from 16.5 - 18.5.2019 at the Medical University of Graz.
The Nordic Association of clinical physics (NACP) has planned to organise a very relevant CT optimization course. Our goal is to give the participants useful and practical tools to start their own optimization processes at their radiological departments.
