Figure 2: The in-transit mode is similar to that described in Figure 1. This figure describes the extra step required in the process of DC in transit mode, which occurs between the steps described Figure 1b and Figure 1c. In vivo mode (in-transit) The workflow to perform in-transit dosimetry with DC is very similar to a pre-treatment case. The difference is that the images obtained with the patient (or with the phantom) have to be transformed selecting the Exit Port Images button in the step shown in Figure 1b. As explained above, the deconvolution kernel in-transit mode is a different one because the deconvolution process is different from that used in pre-treatment mode. Moreover, this image has to be corrected for beam attenuation with a back-projection ray tracing, as shown in Figure 2. From this point, the dose calculation is the same as the pre-treatment case shown in Figure 1c.
