The Council Directive 2013/59/EURATOM of 5 December 2013 laying down basic safety standards for protection against the dangers arising from exposure to ionising radiation states a new dose limit for the eye lens, with a reduction from 150 to 20 mSv per year (average over 5 years, with no single year exceeding 50 mSv), that is to say 7.5 times lower than it was. The member states had 4 years (deadline February 2018) to implement the Directive into their legislation.
Il corso è rivolto a tutti i sici sanitari e medici dell’area radiologica interessati agli aspetti di base dell’imaging di RM, partendo dai parametri sici che intervengono sul segnale misurabile in RM per arrivare alla formazione delle immagini richieste dal medico, nelle loro differenti pesature e proprietà di qualità dell’immagine. Verranno presentati anche gli elementi innovativi di hardware, software e tipologia di sequenze introdotti nei tomogra di ultima generazione, la gestione degli artefatti e gli elementi di base delle principali tecniche avanzate.
For nearly twenty years, the EURADOS Annual Meetings have been a key event on the agenda of the communi- ty working in the field of ionizing radiation dosimetry. It has become a tradition to combine the statutory actions of EURADOS with the meetings of EURADOS working groups as well as with events of general interest such as the EURADOS Winter School or workshops on particularly important topics in dosimetry.
Il corso si propone di fornire gli strumenti teorici e pratici, su basi scientifiche, per l’esecuzione di una valutazione dei rischi da esposizione a radiazioni laser in ambiente sanitario alla luce deidecreti legislativi vigenti.

Modern radiotherapy is increasingly evolving towards a reduction in the number of fractions. Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy (SBRT), or as morerecently de ned, SABR (Stereotactic Ablative Body Radiotherapy), is aradiation therapy approach in which high radiation doses are delivered in few fractions focused on small extracranial tumors with rapid dose fall off outside the target. In particular, SBRT/SABR is becoming elective therapy, in several anatomic districts, both for primitive tumors and for metastaticlesions.
