UC San Diego is recruiting a Radiation Safety Officer who is responsible for the campus, medical centers and our international oceanography radiation safety programs. UC San Diego holds a broad scope type A license from the California Department of Public Health and an NRC reciprocity license. Program elements include Radiation Oncology, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, campus research, clinical trials research, x-ray machines, lasers, radio frequency safety, magnetic field safety, meter calibration and international shipping.
